Psalm 127 – (1) Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (There are beautiful homes throughout this land and yet there is much trouble, vanity and strife are found behind the curtained windows of many).

(2) It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, and to eat the bread of sorrows; for He gives to His beloved – sleep! (parent after parent watch in vain as their children march readily into deception, this freefall into the worldly abyss is very real and many parents today are sleepless “dotes”).

(3) Behold (LOOK), children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is His reward. (What is the country doing to the fruit of the womb, what are we doing to our heritage?) Simply! The heritage of the United States of America is RUINED.

(4) Like arrows in the hand of the warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. (5) Happy is the man (parent) who has a quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate. (The military has a slogan that if you drop a missile or one of its arrows it is labelled a “dull sword”! As a nation we have dropped most of our arrows and the minds of our young are filled with insecurity, promiscuity and the cowardly lions desire to face the enemy).

Our inventory of freedom is depleted because our children are these days “few in number” largely “undisciplined” and have no wisdom to stand in the gate.
