Tuesday’s Blog – Resurrection Day

Tuesday’s Blog –  Resurrection Day

Proverbs 8:5 – O you simple (naïve) ones, understand prudence and you fools (stilly), be of an understanding heart!

Bible Challenges and Comments

If you ask a young person today what Easter is all about, you will obtain a good answer. The Easter bunny brings thoughts of spring with candy, eggs and other things that provide happy thoughts that tends to usher in the springtime.

Yet if you ask a young person today about Resurrection Sunday, you will no doubt receive a very puzzled look and no verbal response. In order to get a response there is a labor of discussion leading up to what the universal church does on this Sunday.

Jews and gentiles alike are lulled by the world to lay aside biblical views of the Holy Days, instead of relating to the Creator and glorifying Him; nations relate to the events of the world around them with terms like, mother earth and holidays that are earthly and demonic.

Demonic? Yes really! Easter being the worst in that Easter began; not with the resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ but with the god of the dawn, a female goddess called Eastre or Eostre is a blending of Paganism with Catholicism.

If you take the time to look into the history of the two words above you will find some very interesting information regarding the work of Satan to reprogram the death and resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ to nothing more than another localized myth of Jewish origin (urban myth).

Since the Jew is not liked by most of the world, Satan’s attempt to destroy truth is made a lot easier by counterfeiting many secular holidays by replacing these days of biblical events with false gods, false teaching and false motives of distraction.

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."

So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee and there they will see Me: Matthew 28:1-10.

The world around us TODAY needs to REHEAR this message… Jesus is Risen, He is RISEN. Luke 24:33-34. So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven (disciples) and those who were with them (Jesus and His disciple) gathered together saying. “The LORD is RISEN INDEED and has appeared to Simon (Peter).
