Tuesday’s Blog – Peace and Safety; I pray that you are reading!

Ecclesiastes 8: 1-2 – Who is like a wise man? And who know the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the sternness (strength) of his face is changed.

Bible Challenges and Comments

In Ecclesiastes 8; Solomon is speaking of confidence in matters that promote national good. Like most of us, I look at the times we live in and consider (or think) on the state of our Union. There is little union in the nation, if union were a spread to put on a piece of bread, the jar would be empty except for some scrapings on the sides and the very bottom.

You have like me heard all of this before, so there is no sense to reheat the “hash” by now the hash is barely worthy for dog food (I must be hungry!).

Here is the answer to our national condition: 1 John 5:14-17 – Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask ANYTHING according to His will, He hears us. And if we KNOW He hears us, whatever we ask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

(Nationally we see the government and the religion of our nation and if you are not afraid to look you will see two major sins. One that does not lead to death and one that does).

If anyone SEES his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask and He (God) will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin and there is sin not leading to death.

Simply put we are no longer a nation that prays for one another for freedom, peace and Spiritual prosperity. We are now a nation that preys on one another for bondage in sins that leads to death, corruption in government that leads to national decay and spiritual poverty. Sins that do not really lead to death, but over time leads a people to destruction because we have lost our SALT, Matthew 5:13-16.
